covered in chocalate

proper parent today - got covered in banana and chocolate pudding feeding Zack

sitting up, grabbing, growing up

Funny seeing the wee man sitting at a table at the weekend. still needs help staying upright but basically he's in good shape, first time I've seen him grabbing things from the table and throwing them off - sadly it was some of my paper work for my job but hey - I recovered them easily enough.


Also he saw his first fire tonight out in the garden. He's growing up so quick...

Bottles

I had assumed baby's bottles would go on and on but we're finding our bruin/landam 'free flow' bottles are breaking and leaking frequently. We're trying some tommee tippee ones and avent ones but on reflection Zack's happier with the bruin ones.

A month ago i would have recommended them without hesitation but now, I'd have to caveat it with they have a limited lifespan (couple of months).

zacks infection returns

looks like the nasty skin infection he had a few weeks ago has returned. He now has bath oils, moisturizer and anti-biotic cream. Lucky kid.

he's well though considering and still seems very chirpy.

time for bed now though.

New blog

Figured I ought to write about my boy and parenting and such and having yet another blog seemed like a good bet.

So this is going to be about me as a parent only and hopefully I'll update it frequently.

News so far: Zack's got some oil and goo for his dry skin and he had his first tooth yesterday bless him.
